Or the leftovers from the Ahwahnee feast that Ursula brought back to her bear cave? Or is it just because our Ursula is growing up? Whatever the reason, the bears’ winter bed no longer fits all three large bears. Twice during their hibernation, Daddy rolls onto his side which makes, in turn, Mommy roll over causing our Ursula to plunk onto the floor. The third time, Ursula decides that three plunkings are enough for one winter and sets up her bed in the new indoor waterfall. (We call them showers.) Mommy told Daddy to install one in their cave after the bears spent the night at the Ahwahnee so that she no longer needs to walk to the Bear Town waterfall to shower with the other bears. There, she just feels a little too bare.Luckily, for Ursula, the indoor waterfall only ‘turns on’ when the snow begins to melt. But it is now early spring, and the sun is growing in strength.
