The Worm Returns

Bad Buffalo is the meanest, smelliest, fastest-shooting outlaw in the West... and three states to the East. He’s got rotten teeth, a foul mouth, and zero patience for anything except whiskey, women, and shooting things that annoy him.But when he takes aim at an acorn perched on a squirrel’s head, he triggers the weirdest adventure of his life. Because that squirrel is actually Dia, a shape-shifting forest sprite who needs his help to save the world.Turns out, there are wormholes popping up all over the frontier—literal magic-eating worms that suck the life out of the land, devour sprites, and threaten to wipe out every last spark of enchantment on Earth. And there’s only one way to stop them: plugging their holes with bullets from Bad Buffalo’s trusty six-shooter.He never asked to be a hero. He sure as hell doesn’t want to be one. But when Dia offers...let’s just say incentives he can’t resist, Bad Buffalo saddles up for the weirdest ride this side of the galaxy. From drunken saloons to wormhole tunnels through space-time, from talking squirrels to galaxy-spanning magical conspiracies,The Worm Returnsis a raucous, irreverent, and utterly original mashup of Western grit, sci-fi weirdness, and fairy tale humor.Perfect for fans ofGood Omens,Discworld, and anyone who likes their cowboys foul-mouthed, their fairies flirtatious, and their cosmic stakes absolutely ridiculous. What readers are saying:★★★★★ “I loved this story!
