The Roots of the King James Bible

Do you know where your Bible came from? Most people don't. Many people are using the same Bible they started out with as a child, not even thinking about its pedigree. Even those people using a King James Bible just assume that its the right one without knowing where it came from and the history behind it. The consensus is just to criticize other Bible versions because they're different than the verbiage of the King James Bible, and the reason for that is because they come from a different group of ancient texts. This book gives you a brief survey of the origin of the King James Bible, and its evolution through various English Bibles. Knowing the background of the King James Bible will give you a new appreciation for what this text actually represents, and will give you insight into why many people consider this version to be the true Word of God.Read more
