THE REAL DE RANCÉ: ILLUSTRIOUS PENITENT AND REFORMER OF NOTRE DAME DE LA TRAPPE

Writing in response to a scurrilous biography of de Rancè by Henri Bremond, Fr. Ailbe Luddy, a Trappist, rehabilitates the reputation of this saintly abbot, the founder of the Trappists. Unlike the original print edition, this volume is filled with sixty-four full color images of the personalities whose lives impinged upon the life of de Rancè. A short biographical account of each person is given in the pop-up for each image.Read more
