The Real Bank Job

It was the most audacious crime of the 1970’s; a gang of villains tunnelled their way into the safety deposit box vault of Lloyds Bank on Baker Street, London. The ‘walkie-talkie’ robbery (as it became known) was later immortalised in the hit 2008 film ‘The Bank Job’ starring Jason Statham. Dan Shaw, Author of ‘The Krays: Their Life and Crimes’ and ‘The Great Train Robbery’ presents the explosive true account of one of the most daring and ingenious heists in British criminal history. It’s a story packed with suspense and intrigue, near misses, and edge of the seat plot twists. Dan Shaw has managed to cram all the drama of the real bank job into one concise yet electrifying account, taking the reader by the scruff of the neck and propelling them into the centre of what is a truly astounding story. Dare you join the gang as they attempt the real ‘Bank Job’?Read more
