The Chocolate Revolution: 16th December: What Shall We Do Today?

Join Imani, Tommy, and Maya on their most delicious—and revolutionary—adventure yet! When silly toys spring to life on their front steps, these three young friends are whisked away to a magical kingdom where chocolate flows like rivers and simple toys have been banned. In the Kingdom of Confection and Chaos, the tyrannical Toy King has outlawed rubber chickens, whoopee cushions, and other "silly" toys, forcing everyone to buy only expensive, branded products. He's also banned the ancient tradition of dipping everything in chocolate and erased the memory of a historic protest that won the kingdom its freedom. With the help of Captain Cordelia Cocoa and her band of revolutionary toys, the children must recreate the spirit of the Great Tea Party Protest—standing up for creativity, imagination, and the freedom to play. Through chocolate-covered adventures and silly toy celebrations, they'll discover that the best kind of fun doesn't come in fancy packaging, and that standing up for what's right is always in style.Perfect for children ages 6-9 who love:Magical adventures with meaningful messagesStories celebrating creativity and imaginationFun historical connections (Boston Tea Party anniversary)Chocolate and silly toys!Friends working together to solve problemsEducational themes woven throughout:American history and peaceful protestConsumer awareness and critical thinkingThe value of simple play over commercializationFriendship, teamwork, and standing up for beliefsCultural celebrations and traditionsPart of the beloved "What Shall We Do Today?" series—over 250 magical adventures that entertain while teaching important values!Read more
