Sturm Season

Marshal Sturm, Earl of Fortaleza, and his retainers have helped thousands of Northerners survive three hellish nights as their crazed southern neighbors mindlessly threw themselves against the barricades in a desperate attempt to kill and eat them. Now his problems are really beginning. The insanity has ended but the danger is just revving up. Ten thousand people are dead or injured, thousands more children are orphaned, there is no food in the city, and Joachim Adler, pretender to Sturm's earldom, is determined to finish the task that his berserkers failed to accomplish—kill Sturm and drive every northerner out of the city. And as if that isn’t bad enough, Sturm now has proof that the Empire of Ahl-Alnaar is supporting Adler's treacherous efforts. No one thinks he has a chance of surviving, but the man who triumphed despite the odds at Steil Pass and Hekt is not ready to quit. Instead, he is determined to bring the Sturm Season down on his enemies and end Adler's threat forever.Read more
