SILVER FOX: POST TRUTH

Two years after the Watts Family Murders, how much of what we know to be the truth isn’t the truth? What new information has come through the ether in recent months? What has the new Netflix documentary revealed that we didn’t already know? In POST TRUTH, the 100th True Crime Rocket Science [TCRS] title, the world’s most prolific true crime author Nick van der Leek demonstrates how much we still don’t know in the Watts case. In the final chapter of the SILVER FOX trilogy the author provides a sly twist in a tale that has spanned 12 TCRS books to date. The result may shock or leave you with even more questions. “The unknown in true crime, and especially this case, is greater in scale and scope than we can possibly imagine. When we’re humbled by what we know we don’t know, we’re finally ready to learn to become true True Crime Rocket Scientists." "At the same time, there is an incredible amount we can know, and do know. Though we may be new to a particular path, we can be reassured that someone else has walked it and left clues for us along the way. We can pick these up, chew on them [psychologically], or muddle along through some random Post Truth. Do we pick the low hanging fruit of the conspiracies, or do we try harder to find the elusive, silky threads that tie this whole damn show together? I've gone for the latter in this final narrative in the SILVER FOX trilogy.”Read more
