Ruthless Betrayal

On the penultimate night of Ruth's Chelsea wedding ceremony, she is deflowered by hoodlums when she attends her best friend Esther Banks's birthday party. Micheal Reynolds, her groom whom she deeply loves, then ditches her because of the act as he seeks a celibate woman as his wife. He then takes in Esther Banks as his wife. Ruth is then confronted with myriads of family problems, most importantly her dad, who instantly gets a heart attack as he receives tidings of his daughter being assaulted a night before her wedding. She then seeks to reconnect with Geoffrey Sachs, her former lover, but circumstances and his personal expectations can't keep them together. Ruth also meets Jim Kingston, and he's willing to help her alleviate her problems and family debts, but he wants an immediate marriage before he can help her. In the process of accepting to marry him, she discovers traits about him that make her regret ever knowing him. At the same time, Micheal Reynolds seeks to be head of the most powerful organization in the United States of America. Still, his Grandma, who has the wherewithal to make him the head of the organization, wants him to make Ruth his wife. Will Ruth be able to face impossible choices in a whirlwind of heartbreak and manipulation? To know more, listen to "Ruthless Betrayal ", only on Pocket FM.
