Rich Brian

On Rich Brian’s first full-length album since 2019, Where is My Head?, the Indonesian-born artist redefines and coheres his vision in a staggering way. He’s making the most vulnerable and authentic music of his life, in turn deepening the connection with his ever growing army of devoted fans. With Where Is My Head?, Rich Brian’s definition of success now means something different than ever before. He’s had the hits. Now? He wants something more. Brian decided to handle most of the performances himself, honing in on an analog sound thanks to his intense immersion learning to play synthesizers and keyboards. He blends his unimpeachable rap delivery with knotty narratives and confident singing performances. It was a bold switch-up from Brian, who could have coasted on his success last decade. He became the first Asian artist to reach number one on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts. Who wouldn’t want to coast on that success? The accolades are nice, but Rich Brian wants something more with Where Is My Head? Brian has finally discovered himself. His priority is simple: How can he make art that is honest? He asks: “How can I continue to make music that pushes me to be the best I can be?” On Where Is My Head? Rich Brian answers that question on each and every track.
