It helps readers uncover their deepest beliefs about life and reality. The book has an unpretentious style aimed at readers with little to no background in philosophy. It lets readers appreciate the enduring power of two (or three, counting Socrates) of the most celebrated philosophers of European philosophy. It makes accessible some of their most distinctive arguments about how to live and what is real.Read more
