Pancho vs. the Flying Fart Can: A Service Dog's Mile High Adventure

And I do not have the best track record when it comes to staying calm under pressure.Thankfully, I had help. My therapist, Dr. Poopsalot, and my best friend Tank worked hard to prepare me for the trip. We practiced breathing exercises. We tackled fake turbulence drills. I even faced a vacuum cleaner without hiding in the laundry basket. I was ready. Or so I thought.Nothing could have prepared me for what actually happened at thirty thousand feet. There was barking. There was barfing. There were strange smells that no one would admit to. And then... there was the fart. The really big one. Things went downhill fast after that.In this laugh-out-loud story of anxiety, family, and flatulence, you’ll join me on a journey through:The chaos of TSA with a ChihuahuaA flight gone very wrongAn emergency landing no one saw comingA firefighter Dalmatian named Sparky who thinks he’s a heroAnd the shocking moment that turned me into an accidental celebrityIf you’ve ever been scared to try something new, this story is for you. Because sometimes the biggest messes lead to the biggest lessons.I’m Pancho. I survived the flight. Sort of.Read more
