Paddles Up! Huki!: Volume Two Life as a Pacific Outrigger Canoe Paddler

From being caught alone in a storm paddling in the lagoon at Bora Bora to racing in the "World's Largest Long Distance Canoe Race", this is the second volume of stories about paddling in Outrigger Canoes. The timeless beauty racing along the Na Pali coast to fighting through gale force winds and heavy seas along the Kohala coast, told by someone who has spent his life around the sea. These are stories anyone who has lived by the sea, and those enthralled by the romance of it, will recognize. Join the crews and experience the excitement, the camaraderie of life on the sea, communing with whales and dolphins, the magic of gliding over rainbow colored reefs and the challenges faced when the sea decides to test your spirit. Have a seat, grab a paddle and enjoy the voyage!Read more
