Oil, Power And War[english]

The story of oil is one of luck, betrayal, and devastation. It is the story of a resource that has been undeniably central to the formation of our modern culture. Oil has become the most critical component of economic, military, and political power over the last 150 years. And it has led us to the current situation, in which political leaders and the fossil-fuel industry present dangerous policies on a global stage marked by shifting power bases. Get on this spectacular and eye-opening journey as we explore the impact of the 'Black Gold' in our lives and wonder what the future holds as the race to control the last of the world’s easily and cheaply extractable reserves becomes increasingly desperate.
