Oh No, I've Fallen in Love!: A modern Cinderella.

Be careful what you wish for. Even fairy godmothers can get it wrong.A Comedy Mixing Dark Humour with LightValerie Anthrope insists she’s perfectly fine. She manages a financial brokerage, owns her own home, drives a new Vectra, and doesn’t need anyone, least of all love.Enter Ellen Semple: an overbearing, well-meaning whirlwind who answers Valerie’s advert for a PA and promptly starts reorganising her entire life. Then there’s Lex Kendal, Ellen’s charming, exasperating nephew, a millionaire used to getting everything he wants. Everything except a woman who saysno. When Ellen introduces the two, the collision is inevitable, and neither Valerie nor Lex will escape unscathed. Between insomnia, paranoia, meddling relatives, and one missing cat, this darkly funny twist on Cinderella proves that happily ever after is far messier than the fairy tales suggest.‘A comedy romance written with dry humour and a sarcastic wit.’– Amazon Reviewer‘So funny, yet so sad too.’– Amazon ReviewerRead more
