I Can Be Amish

Three things I never expected from my senior year:Crashing my car into an Amish farm, letting dozens of cows escape, and chasing them through the mud in a torrential downpour.Being kissed senseless by a mysterious Amish boy in said rainstorm, only to discover he's my new classmate the next day.Finding myself caught between two worlds as we both try to figure out where we belong. When I walk into AP English on the first day of school and see him—Elijah Miller, the same Amish boy who rescued me (and then kissed me) during my cow-chasing disaster—I'm shocked to learn he's doing his "Rumspringa" year at Sweet Creek High.Even more surprising? We're paired together for a semester-long project that forces us to confront the differences between our worlds. As I try to pull Elijah out of his comfort zone and into Friday night football games and Drive-In milkshakes, he challenges everything I thought I knew about faith, family, and finding your place. What starts as curiosity quickly becomes something deeper, but there's a ticking clock on our relationship—by spring, Elijah must choose between his community and the "English" world...including me.Now we're both searching for a path that doesn't exist: one where loving someone doesn't mean losing everything else that matters.Perfect for fans of The Kissing Booth and To All the Boys I've Loved Before, this heartfelt romance proves that sometimes the most unexpected crash can lead to the most beautiful collision of hearts.Read more
