How We Got the Bible:: The Real Story

Few people understand how the Bible came to be, but the Bible itself clearly reveals the fascinating answer when you understand where to look. This book shows you first the five stages of formation of the Old Testament, explaining both the time periods and the people who, under the inspiration and authority of God, wrote or edited and compiled it. It then explains, from the pages of the Bible itself, why and how the books of the New Testament were compiled to leave a record of the teachings of Christianity that have had an impact on the whole world ever since. It shows how the completed Bible was stored and protected from the ravages of Christian persecution up until the time of Constantine, when it was finally published openly for the world to see.
