From Bruises to Blood

Pain has a way of shaping people. Some bend beneath it. Others break. And then, there are the rare few… the ones who rise, carved and hardened by it, into something unrecognizable. In a village tucked beyond the edge of the world, there lives a boy forgotten by joy. Ethan Ainsworth. A name that carries no weight among the villagers, no respect among his peers—only bruises, laughter at his expense, and the cold ache of isolation. No one knew why he was treated so cruelly. Not even Ethan. But fate, it seems, had not forgotten him. Beneath the earth, buried by centuries of decay and silence, something ancient waited—a sliver of power left untouched by time. It had no voice, no eyes… but it could feel. And what it felt was a kindred pain—a heart shattered enough to echo its own silence. When Ethan’s blood spilled onto sacred stone, the world shifted. Something awakened. And in that moment, he ceased to be just another boy. Will he become a savior… or something else entirely? To know more, listen to "From Bruises to Blood", only on Pocket FM!
