Dual Imminence: of the Rapture and the Day of the Lord

Dual Imminence says that when Christ comes to receive His Church to Himself in the Rapture, He will also initiate the judgments of the Day of the Lord on earth. Therefore, both the Rapture and the Day of the Lord are imminent (they could happen at any time). This book breaks new ground in demonstrating Dual Imminence is the golden thread, uniting and harmonising all the prophetic teachings of Christ and His apostles. After a detailed study of the Day of the Lord (Tribulation) in both Old and New Testaments, it shows exactly how the New Testament Mystery of the Rapture is related to the Tribulation, through the crowning doctrine of Dual Imminence, which illuminates and clarifies all the scriptures concerning Christ’s imminent Return. Without this vital truth of Dual Imminence, our understanding of Bible Prophecy is incomplete. Finally, it explains the relationship of Daniel’s 70th Week to the Tribulation, which is necessary if we are to have an accurate understanding of the sequence of end-time events.Read more
