Dragonoak: The Sky Beneath The Sun

The second book in the Dragonoak trilogy, the sequel to The Complete History of Kastelir—The days when Rowan Northwood was exiled to the farmland around her village seem like a lifetime ago, and the passing knight she ran away with has become a memory she does her best not to revisit. Her powers lie dormant, settling within her as glowing embers waiting to come alive once more. Canth is a scorching land built upon disorder and neglect, and having traded the sheep of Felheim’s fields for the fish of the sea, Rowan finds herself living amongst pirates.Port Mahon takes her in, accepts her as one of their own, but throughout peaceful days and violent assaults on the town alike, her thoughts are ever on Kastelir—or what remains of it.*The Sky Beneath the Sun is the second book in a trilogy, following Rowan Northwood halfway across the world. From knights to pirates, necromancy remains a constant theme in this slow-paced, character-driven novel, with plenty of lesbian romance throughout. All three books in the trilogy are now available: The Complete History of Kastelir, The Sky Beneath the Sun, and Gall and Wormwood.Read more
