Bitter Oranges

Jack Holland never meant to become a priest. An Irish teenager with no religion and even less restraint, he sought refuge in a seminary to dodge family pressure—just until he figured things out. But procrastination has a way of rewriting destinies.Years later, Jack finds himself in California, wearing the collar and preaching to the faithful, all while wrestling with shattered vows, unexpected success, and a God who seems more wrathful than forgiving. His journey is equal parts absurd and profound—a spiritual misadventure laced with dark humor, biting satire, and the ache of a man caught between faith and freedom.A bold, irreverent tale of identity, belief, and the chaos of becoming who you never planned to be.Read more
