Atoms & Monsters: The Casebook of Johnny Sundown (Book 1)

Former Chicago police officer Johnny Sundown is just starting out on his new career as a private investigator, helping clean up the streets of the city in the wake of the Second World War. But he is different than others in his profession. He is a full-blooded Sioux, born the Dakota Badlands. He is the last Shadow Warrior, charged with protecting the world from those evils others can't even see. He is the sole surviving Power Wielder of the Anisazi School of Magic. And he is about to tackle his first case on his own. If he fails the outcome may be to end not only his career, but the existence of the city itself. Because now he has to face not only a parade of monsters, pulled straight out of the movies and turned deadly real, but the cracking of the very fabric of the universe itself.Read more
