Army of One: Joe Beck Book #1 (A Vigilante Justice Kindle Crime Action Thriller)

A gripping, murder mystery, organized crime and vigilante justice thriller introducing Joe Beck - a brutal ex-cop turned outlaw private detective. When Joe Beck visits Texas for the funeral of an old friend, he gets caught up with an escort named Sapphire and taken at gunpoint by a group of men he’s never seen before.Under orders of a man known only as 'the chairman,' the men drive them out to a desolate stretch of desert land where a hand-dug grave, a harrowing demise, and a gut-wrenching discovery awaits. As horrors come to light in the dark of the Texan night, Joe Beck survives the tense life or death situation and sets off on a raw and elemental quest to identify who else is responsible and serve up his own hard brand of vigilante justice. This is one private detective you really don’t want looking for you…If you like Lee Child's Jack Reacher, Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp, J.B. Turner’s Jon Reznick, David Baldacci’s John Puller, James Patterson’s Alex Cross, or Robert Crais’s Elvis Cole, this unputdownable Joe Beck thriller is for you.Read more
