Amish Knit & Stitch Circle: Smicksburg Tales 4

Complete Amish Knit & Stitch Circle Episodes 1-8 with eight Amish recipes baked at Granny Weaver's knitting circle. Join women worldwide as they read about Granny and her girls who knit for charity and solve their problems together, in community. Granny started knitting circles two years ago, believing women are stronger spun together just like the wool she spins. The women who attend her circles now agree and are reaching out to others themselves. In Amish Knit & Stitch Circle, the women will make quilts and embroider along with knit. Lottie, a 20 year old single woman from Ohio has Granny on a mission to find her a man in need of a wife. Phil Darby, a new single pastor in town the women have dubbed, “Mr. Darcy…right out of Pride & Prejudice,” makes quite the stir as he spends too much time with Lottie. A shut-in, MJ, along with loving husband Andy, are an example of a marriage that has survived great hardship and thrived. Can they help an Amish couple with their marital problems? Join the regulars from previous knitting circles: Suzy, Marge, Janice, Colleen, Maryann, Ruth, Mona…and new embers as well. Smicksburg Tales is a continuing short story serial which started in 2011 and is still in full swing. After 8 episodes are written they are combined into 300+ page novels.
