Almost a Marriage

“It was supposed to be a contract, not a connection.” Three years ago, award-nominated actress Selene Marlowe and tech mogul Adrian Hale signed a marriage contract, strictly business. His image needed saving. Her career needed reviving. Love was not part of the deal. Living on opposite coasts, they mastered the art of public perfection and private distance. But when an intimate photo resurfaces, sparking rumors of a fake marriage, they are forced to reunite, and this time, actually live as husband and wife. Staged kisses turn softer. Scripted glances last too long. And behind the cameras, real emotions begin to stir. He is all logic. She is all performance. But neither expected the lines to blur. Because what happens when pretending becomes the most honest thing they have ever done? And how do you fake a love story, when you are starting to want every word of it to be true?
