A Striker’s Tale

Liam never thought he would hold a bat again. After years of abuse and a near-fatal beating from his mother, he is placed with a new family who offer him a kind of safety he does not know how to trust. Baseball was once the reason he suffered, but now it has become the only thing that makes him feel alive. When his quiet talent begins to draw attention, Liam is forced to face the past he tried to bury and the fear that still follows him. Between the cages, the noise, and the silence he cannot escape, he must choose whether to keep running or finally take his swing.
