A Cartographer

A heart can take you anywhere. "A Cartographer," is a collection of new and beloved poems from poet Antonio J. Hopson, who captured hearts and minds in 2016 with his book Seven, which spent ten weeks at #1 on Amazon’s “Love Poems” bestsellers list. A Cartographer is a glimpse into the life that soon emerges after a fire has swept through a forest. With honesty, poignancy, and romantic flare, A Cartographer captures what is both raw and relatable about the greenery that grows out of the ashes: the smallest and grandest moments in life, the first glimpse of a new love, panda hatred, late night dancing to punk rock music, the love and nepenthe of whiskey, stars, machismo and its failings, and the adventure and exuberance of mapping the human heart. Antonio J. Hopson walks with the reader--hand-in-hand-- through some of life’s exhilarating highs and heartbreaking lows.Read more
