★★★★★"A literally explosive finale! A perfect ending for a heart-pounding trilogy!"★★★★★"Excellent series, great characters, brilliant ending!"As the radiation poisoning that Nadia Laksheva was exposed to in Chernobyl takes hold of her body, she knows she is living on borrowed time. But Salamander, the terrorist who has waged war against her family has a deadly new plan to ‘make the sky bleed’.Nadia's search for Salamander leads to Hong Kong, Sudan, Sakhalin in Northern Russia, and North Korea. But all paths inevitably converge on a remote ridge in the Arctic at 88 degrees of latitude, right above one of the largest oil fields in the world, three kilometres below the ice. Nadia must work out what Salamander is planning, and stop him, but her allies keep being wiped off the chessboard, and her own time is running out...★★★★★ ”If you haven’t read 66 Metres or 37 Hours, you must! Then sit back with 88° North, making sure your coffee and snacks are refilled before you reach the seventy percent mark in the story. That’s when this cat and mouse game will have you swiping pages to see who prevails because anything is possible!”★★★★★ "I am hard-pressed to think of a villain as brilliant as Salamander. Even Sherlock Holmes’ arch nemesis, Moriarty pales in comparison."★★★★★"I loved this book for the action, the intensity of suspense, and the close personal relationships I developed with the characters."★★★★★"Kudos to the author for a well-written trilogy that tightly weaves the plot together through all three books to deliver a young woman who not only became something she promised her mother she never would… she became more."Read more
