4B: Rise and Resist

Now is the time to rise & resist! The future is female!4B: Rise & Resistis a provocative and empowering manifesto for women who are ready to challenge and dismantle patriarchal and authoritarian systems. In a world where women’s rights are increasingly under siege, Snell offers a bold framework for resistance through the principles of 4B: Boycott, Block, Break, and Build. Each pillar represents a powerful strategy that empowers women to fight back and reclaim their autonomy, both individually and collectively. The book begins by introducing the reader to the concept of 4B, explaining how this modern resistance movement was born out of the urgent need to combat the oppressive forces that have gained momentum in recent years, particularly under the influence of figures like Donald Trump and his fascist allies. Through vivid storytelling and historical context, Snell outlines how the 4B movement draws inspiration from past feminist struggles while evolving to meet the unique challenges of our time.Beyond the core pillars,4B: Rise & Resistalso explores how symbols and physical tokens of resistance can strengthen the movement and inspire solidarity. Snell discusses the power of tattoos, blue bracelets, and radical changes in appearance—such as shaving one’s head or embracing bold hair colors—as acts of defiance against patriarchal beauty standards. She explains how these symbols serve as visible reminders of one’s commitment to the cause and spark conversations that spread awareness. She also argues that resistance is not just physical or intellectual; it is also deeply spiritual, requiring women to nurture their souls as they fight for change. By reclaiming rituals and creating new ones, women can honor their ancestors and draw from a collective well of resilience.4B: Rise & Resistis not just a guide; it is a rallying cry. It’s a blueprint for a future where women are free from oppression, empowered to make their own choices, and united in their shared fight for justice. Abigail Snell’s writing is unapologetically fie
